Challenge:

A large foundation of approximately 3m X 10 m as to be fitted with a new gear box. The suitability of the foundation was to be tested for the same.

Solution:

A large foundation of approximately 3m X 10 m for a sugar mill in the crushing plant was tested. The results were analyzed to assess the suitability of mounting the new gearbox. Filling of existing mounting holes and drilling of new mounting holes for the European gearbox was required by the client.

Benefits:

A techno-commercially feasible solution was given to make the expansion plans of the plant a reality.
